The Direct Access Network (DAN) is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), a part of OSF HealthCare. This network of quality healthcare providers partners with self-funded employer sponsored health benefit plans for access to quality medical providers in a 32-county service area.

DAN is a team of:

• Over 2,500 Physicians & Other Practitioners
• Hundreds of Ancillary Providers

In addition to the above participating providers, DAN also offers access to ASK OSF - a 24/7 Nurse Line. Just dial 1-888-6-ASK-OSF and any time, day or night, a Registered Nurse (RN) is available to answer medical questions, provide medical referrals, schedule classes at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, and locate a physician for you. In many cases, scheduling your appointment could even be part of the call!

Looking for a resource on health and wellness information? Members of the OSF Direct Access Network can access a wealth of online options designed to assist in improving their health and well-being. You can find information on such serious health concerns as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, pregnancy, nutrition, and many more issues. Staywell Solutions health library is an extensive collection of online materials, including articles featuring both text and graphics in English and Spanish, and helpful tools such as health calculators and quizzes that help you analyze personal health risks.
